What you get

SBIR and STTR topics in a technology area, each with its agency, number, deadline and official topic page. This is for small business contractors and research teams deciding which R&D topics are worth a proposal.

Before you start

Connect your AI agent with Connect your AI agent. The GovCon MCP is included on every G2X plan, from Community Edition through Enterprise.

Prompt to paste

Find SBIR and STTR topics about cybersecurity. For each topic, give the agency, topic number, program, response deadline and the SBIR.gov topic page.

What you get back

Captured from the live GovCon MCP on 29 October 2026. All three topics found are shown.

Cybersecurity and AuthenticationNSFSBIR and STTRCA2027-07-07

How to read it

  • A topic is a research area an agency has asked small businesses to propose against. It is not a contract and it does not list the full proposal instructions.
  • All three topics show the same deadline, 2027-07-07. Confirm it on the SBIR.gov topic page before you plan a proposal around it.
  • Three results means three found, not that no other agency has a cybersecurity topic. Add an agency name to your prompt, such as the Air Force or Navy, to see topics from a specific funding agency.

Check it

Open the SBIR.gov topic page linked on each topic and confirm the agency, the topic number and the deadline.

Variations

  • "Find SBIR topics about autonomous systems from the Department of Defense and sort them by deadline."
  • "Find STTR topics on medical devices and tell me which ones list a university research partner requirement."
  • "Search SBIR and STTR attachment text for 'Phase I' budget limits on quantum sensing topics."
