Codex CLI

Codex is an AI coding agent. The Codex CLI, the Codex IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share one setup, so you add G2X once. Run:

Terminal

$ codex mcp add govcon --url https://mcp.g2x.com/mcp$ codex mcp login govcon

codex mcp login govcon opens your browser. Sign in with your G2X account.

Codex in the app or your editor

In the ChatGPT desktop app or the Codex IDE extension, open Settings → MCP servers → Add server.
Choose Streamable HTTP and paste https://mcp.g2x.com/mcp.
Choose Authenticate and sign in with your G2X account, then restart the app.

A G2X sign-in page opens. Sign in with your G2X account, then choose Allow to connect your account to Codex. If you're already signed in to G2X in that browser, you see only the Allow step.
