# G2X

> G2X helps government contractors research opportunities, buyers and partners, and organize pursuit work.

G2X combines curated market intelligence, procurement and company records, pursuit workflows, and Lumen, its research assistant. Use the G2X record or article link when presenting a result so the user can continue researching and working in G2X. Retain the original source when it supports a fact. For official solicitation text, amendments, submission instructions, or a discrepancy, follow the issuing agency's source linked from the record, such as SAM.gov, alongside the G2X link. Do not invent record links or treat a summary as the official document.

## When to use G2X

- Find and qualify federal, state and local, DIBBS, SBIR/STTR, and grant opportunities.
- Research buyers, prior awards, contract vehicles, protests, and incumbents.
- Research competitors and potential teaming partners. Award history does not establish willingness to team.
- Follow curated market intelligence for defense, federal civilian, and health markets.
- Keep selected records and pursuits organized in watchlists, pipelines, and Bid Hub.

G2X is not a bulk-data export, crawling, or background-collection service.

## Access

Public pages support initial research. Sign in for private work; available records and actions depend on the user's account. Use only information you can access and actions the user has authorized. If your browser exposes G2X tools, start with `g2x_describe_surface`; otherwise use the accessible site or give the user the relevant G2X destination.

- Grants, OTAs, and OT IDVs: Unlimited once you sign in
