1. Fort Benning Maneuver Warfighter Conference

The Fort Benning Maneuver Warfighter Conference runs September 15–17 at McGinnis-Wickam Hall in Fort Benning, Georgia. Federal Business Council organizes the in-person industry event around Army readiness, mobility, protection, lethality, and sustainment.

4. Federal Cyber Defense Breakfast

FedScoop’s Federal Cyber Defense Breakfast takes place September 15 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City in Arlington, Virginia. The in-person program brings federal cybersecurity officials and industry participants together for a discussion of cyber defense.

6. VA NCO 16 virtual business opportunity session

VA’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Direct Access Program hosts this virtual session on September 23. The program focuses on the Veterans Health Administration’s Procurement and Logistics Office and Regional Program Office Central’s NCO 16 opportunities.

Topics include construction, architecture and engineering, healthcare, maintenance, and medical-equipment repair. Service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, and other small businesses are the intended audience. The free Cisco WebEx session offers a focused introduction to the regional procurement office and its small-business outreach.

7. USDA Small Business Workshop

USDA’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization holds a virtual Small Business Workshop on September 16 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern. The session is intended for businesses learning about federal opportunities or strengthening their approach to government procurement.

8. VIB Network National Conference

Military leaders, government stakeholders, and industry gather around airpower, spacepower, cyber capabilities, and force development.

The program includes more than 40 sessions and a technology exhibition with nearly 300 booths. Discussions of operational priorities and emerging technologies sit alongside opportunities to meet the organizations developing systems for air, space, and cyber missions.

10. Defense TechConnect Innovation Summit & Expo

TechConnect’s Defense Innovation Summit & Expo runs September 22–24 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. The in-person event connects defense innovators, small businesses, and organizations developing resilience technologies.

Its focus includes defense innovation, SBIR/STTR programs, and pathways for moving research toward practical use. The summit and co-located programs bring technology developers together with the broader defense innovation community, with registration available through the event listing.
