1. ACT-IAC Acquisition COI
ACT-IAC’s Acquisition Community of Interest meets virtually on October 7 to discuss federal acquisition reform. The program examines the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul and the changes associated with Executive Order 14275.
The discussion brings acquisition professionals together around how these policy changes affect procurement practice. Its community-of-interest format gives government and industry participants a shared setting to examine changes in the federal acquisition framework. Registration is handled through ACT-IAC for the virtual session.
2. DoW/VA & Government Health IT Summit
Defense Strategies Institute’s summit meets October 20–21 in Washington, D.C., with a focus on military medicine, veterans’ healthcare, and federal health IT. The program brings government technology leaders, health professionals, and industry participants into the same discussion.
Electronic health records and healthcare-system modernization are central themes. The agenda is paired with networking receptions, and registration categories distinguish industry, nonprofit, academic, and government participants. Eligible active-duty U.S. military and government attendees can register at no charge through the organizer.
3. Fall Training Conference
The Coalition for Government Procurement’s Fall Training Conference is scheduled for November 18–19. Its program combines governmentwide procurement training with healthcare acquisition topics, bringing together perspectives from across the federal purchasing community.
Governmentwide and healthcare-focused sessions give participants distinct tracks for understanding acquisition developments. The two-day format combines procurement education with discussion among government and industry practitioners. Registration information is available through the organizer, with the event venue still to be announced.
4. Invest in Success: Coalition Compliance Training Conference
The Coalition for Government Procurement’s October 7 compliance conference is offered in a hybrid format, with an in-person program at CGI Federal in Arlington, Virginia. The agenda focuses on the legal and ethical issues facing government contractors.
Jessica Tillipman’s discussion covers topics including AI ethics, organizational conflicts of interest, collusion, and fraud. Jonathan Aronie addresses active bystandership, while a separate panel examines the civil False Claims Act with Justice Department participation. The combination makes this a focused compliance-training program rather than a general business-development conference.
5. APEX Accelerator 2026 Vendor Fair & Matchmaking Event
Utah’s APEX Accelerator holds its Vendor Fair and Matchmaking Event on October 8 at Salt Lake Community College’s Miller Campus in Sandy. The program gives businesses a setting to present their capabilities and engage with the government-contracting community.
The event combines supplier networking with a vendor-fair format, under the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity’s APEX program. Businesses can use the fair to introduce their products and services within a procurement-focused setting. The organizer’s registration page provides participation details for the vendor fair and matchmaking program.
6. 2026 Federal Cloud & Data Forum
GovCIO Media & Research’s Federal Cloud and Data Forum meets October 8 at Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill. The morning program examines the cloud, edge, and hybrid data environments that support federal AI adoption and operational decision-making.
Sessions cover data governance, multi-cloud architectures, security, and FedRAMP compliance. Panels and shorter presentations connect infrastructure decisions with the work needed to scale AI across agency environments. The in-person event runs from 8 a.m. to noon and offers up to three continuing professional education credits.
7. 2026 SAME Tri-Regional JETS Conference
The Society of American Military Engineers’ Louisiana Post hosts the Tri-Regional Joint Engineer Training Symposium on October 6–8 in New Orleans. The conference takes place at the Astor Crowne Plaza and draws participants from the Gulf Coast, Southeast, and Carolinas regions.
The program centers on military and civil engineering, infrastructure, and professional training. Its regional structure connects engineering communities that work across different installations and public infrastructure needs. Registration and program details are available through the host post, with the conference combining technical learning and professional exchange.
8. Comprehensive OT Training Course — November 2026
ARPA-H’s Comprehensive Other Transaction Training Course takes place November 18–19. The twelve-hour program addresses the planning, execution, and administration of other transactions, giving participants a view across the agreement lifecycle.
The course is offered without charge to government and industry participants. Its scope follows the progression from planning an agreement through execution and ongoing administration, giving both sides of the transaction a common training framework. Registration is available through the program, with the location still to be determined.
9. Hypersonic Weapons & Emerging Technologies Summit 2026
The American Conference Institute’s hypersonic weapons summit meets November 17–18 at the Embassy Suites in Huntsville, Alabama. The program connects technical development with acquisition and operational questions facing the hypersonics community.
Topics include propulsion, materials, integration into military operations, and efforts to streamline acquisition. Perspectives from government laboratories and industry place the engineering discussion alongside the path to fielding systems. The two-day format is built around the development and deployment challenges of hypersonic capabilities, with registration managed by the organizer.
10. Imagine Nation ELC 2026: Beyond the Blueprint
ACT-IAC’s Imagine Nation Executive Leadership Conference meets December 10–11 at Gaylord National in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Its Beyond the Blueprint theme focuses on turning modernization ideas into operational results.
The program is organized around faster delivery, disruptive implementation, and demonstrated impact. Those themes connect federal IT modernization with the work required to move beyond pilots into sustained use. Government and industry participants can explore how organizations execute changes and measure outcomes, with registration and the developing agenda available through ACT-IAC.
