Top 10 Federal Contract Opportunities: October 9, 2026
Explore the top 10 federal contract opportunities the G2X community researched most over the last 24 hours.
Yesterday’s G2X community research puts health-data exchange, enterprise support and mission operations among the top 10 federal contract opportunities. The roundup follows the requirements drawing the most research attention, with a closer look at the work, the actual buyer and the current acquisition stage.
1. DHA Data Exchange Platform Operations and Modernization
The Defense Health Agency’s Enterprise Intelligence & Data Solutions program is seeking commercial solutions to operate and modernize its Data Exchange Platform. The platform moves clinical and operational information among military health systems, VA and other federal partners. The work combines reliable day-to-day service with a transition toward cloud-native applications and modern, standards-based data exchange.
The requirement reaches beyond replacing interfaces. It includes sustaining legacy services, managing incidents, maintaining security and preparing data for downstream AI and machine-learning uses. DHA is accepting Phase I responses under its Commercial Solutions Opening, with vendors expected to distinguish existing commercial capabilities from work that needs adaptation. Solicitation HT003826SC005-AOI0002 closes October 28.

2. VA Enterprise Service Desk Consolidated Effort
VA’s Office of Information and Technology, Enterprise Command Operations, is asking industry how an integrated service desk could work. Its current arrangement separates Tier 1 support from contact-center infrastructure. The RFI explores whether those functions should come together and which oversight responsibilities should remain independent.
A central question is how to measure and pay for outcomes when automation resolves some contacts and people handle others. VA wants practical approaches to transition, platform choices, service quality and billing integrity, along with rough-order-of-magnitude costs. It has not committed to consolidation or a final acquisition structure. The Technology Acquisition Center is collecting responses to solicitation 36C10B27Q0035 through October 21.

3. IHS Leadership Development Program
The Indian Health Service’s Office of Human Resources is exploring support for its Leadership Readiness Initiative. The program develops employees at different stages of leadership, from emerging leaders to people guiding teams and organizational change. The scope includes curriculum development, virtual instruction, participant assessments and program administration.
IHS is looking for a developed delivery approach and relevant experience with tribal and healthcare organizations. The training combines individual development with practical team exercises, project leadership and change-management skills. This is a sources-sought request through the Division of Acquisition Policy, not a request for priced proposals. Tailored capability responses under solicitation FY27-IHS-OHR-LDP are due October 13.

4. Census Bureau Web-Based Legislative Platform
The U.S. Census Bureau is gathering information on subscription platforms for legislative targeting, tracking and outreach. The service would help the bureau search information about congressional, intergovernmental and tribal stakeholders and follow major government releases. Its proposed structure includes a twelve-month base period and two twelve-month options.
The bureau is asking vendors to describe their capability, capacity, business size and available purchasing channels. Responses will help determine the acquisition method, including whether a small-business set-aside is appropriate. This remains market research rather than a request for quotes. Solicitation CENS-REQ-27-4903 has a response deadline of October 9 at 10 a.m. Eastern.

5. FDA Contractor-Hosted Fully Integrated Records Facility
FDA is accepting proposals for an off-site records operation that connects physical document handling with digital tracking. The contractor-hosted facility must provide at least 20,000 contiguous square feet. Work can include intake, processing, scanning, storage, distribution and disposition, with FDA staff able to follow inventory and file movements in real time.
The acquisition includes records support for the Center for Devices and Radiological Health and requires more than warehouse capacity: system interfaces, quality control and delivery services are part of the operation. FDA’s Office of Acquisition and Grants Services plans a single-award IDIQ with a five-year ordering period. Solicitation 75F40126R00009 is reserved for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses; proposals are due October 22.

6. SSA IT Support Services Contract Recompete
The Social Security Administration is soliciting its IT Support Services Contract recompete through the Office of Acquisition and Grants. The acquisition establishes a multiple-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity vehicle for IT support services, with nationwide performance.
Recent amendments address offeror questions, revise solicitation material, add travel line items and update the small-business subcontracting-plan material. The agency has also corrected the statement-of-work version. The procurement is accepting offers under solicitation 28321326R00000022, with the current response deadline set for October 15. The linked opportunity brings together the current solicitation and its supporting material.

7. Marine Corps MAGTF C2 Program Office Support
The Marine Corps’ MAGTF Command and Control program office is seeking lifecycle acquisition and business support. The work covers program management, financial analysis, operations, software-license management and data workflows. Contractors would help prepare acquisition documents, manage program taskers and produce budget and management products for government review.
The support extends into the practical work of running the program: meeting coordination, strategic analysis, information management and selected field activities. Marine Corps Systems Command is soliciting this requirement as a service-disabled veteran-owned small-business set-aside using the SeaPort multiple-award contract. Responses to solicitation M67854-26-R-3007 are due October 16.

8. IHS Health Economics Analysis Services
IHS’s Office of Public Health Support, Division of Program Statistics, needs PhD-level health economics analysis to turn service-access findings into spending decisions. The work examines where direct IHS capacity, Purchased/Referred Care networks, telehealth or other service approaches make economic sense across the agency’s service areas.
The analysis combines utilization and cost data with geographic-access information. Deliverables include decision models, workbooks, code and documentation that government staff can rerun and update. The Division of Acquisition Policy is seeking quotations for a firm-fixed-price purchase order under a total small-business set-aside. Solicitation 75H70427Q00003 closes October 14.

9. NASA Goddard Ground Systems and Mission Operations-4
NASA Goddard Space Flight Center is researching the next generation of ground-system and mission-operations support. GSMO-4 spans engineering, integration and testing, flight operations, flight dynamics, mission-data distribution and sustaining support for science and Earth-science missions. The environment includes both long-running spacecraft operations and the systems needed to bring new missions into service.
NASA wants industry input on technical approaches and cost, including the practicality of moving some work to firm-fixed-price arrangements. It is also exploring a structure that separates stable core missions from other task-ordered work. The request is market research, not a solicitation for proposals. Responses to RFI-GSMO4-2027 are due October 26.

10. AEDC Facility Digital Twins and Predictive Analytics
The Air Force’s Arnold Engineering Development Complex is requesting whitepapers for engineering-grade digital models of its test facilities. The base effort focuses on the Von Kármán Gas Dynamics Facility’s plant and yard, combining laser scanning with detailed models of buildings, piping and supporting infrastructure.
The intended deliverables include coordinated architectural and process models, registered point clouds, drawings and training for the people who will use them. Fieldwork must fit around live testing operations. AEDC is pursuing an Other Transaction prototype agreement, with separately considered follow-on phases. Solicitation FA910126RWP-DigitalTwins closes October 21.
