The top 10 federal contract opportunities the G2X community researched most over the last 24 hours.

Here are the top 10 federal contract opportunities the G2X community researched most over the last 24 hours. Yesterday’s attention spans clinical systems, digital integration, research, records management, and mission software. The entries explain each requirement and its current acquisition stage.

1. VA Pyxis Logistics inpatient VistA interface

VA’s Network Contracting Office 15 is gathering capabilities for the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. The requirement covers the interface connecting VistA with BD Pyxis Logistics, including admission, discharge, transfer, medication-order, and dispensing messages. Subscription maintenance and support would run for a base period with four option years.

The work includes installation and the resources needed to support the interface, with VA information-system access and training requirements applying to personnel. This is a sources-sought effort, not a request for proposals. Responses to solicitation number 36C25527Q0010 are due October 7 at noon Eastern.

2. Navy program and business digital transformation

Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division is seeking capabilities for database and software development, testing, maintenance, and digital integration. Department 20’s scope spans collaboration tools, websites, data migration, workflow automation, user-centered design, and technical documentation. SharePoint, Teams, and Navy ERP support are part of the operating environment.

The draft work anticipates most performance at contractor facilities or through telework, with some work at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. NSWCPD is conducting market research and accepting capability statements rather than proposals. Solicitation number N64498-26-RFPREQ-PD-20-0025 has an October 14 response deadline.

3. ARPA-H SURPASS adaptive clinical trials

ARPA-H’s SURPASS program seeks disease-specific teams that can build and operate persistent, randomized clinical-trial platforms. The concept combines seamless trial design, continuous statistical inference, and AI-enabled operations so multiple investigational treatments can share infrastructure while retaining their scientific and safety requirements.

A core platform team must bring at least three investigational drug or biologic arms, including two not approved for any indication and one with no prior human data. The program calls for an integrated clinical, statistical, and operational approach, not an isolated software tool. ARPA-H anticipates multiple Other Transaction agreements under solicitation number ARPA-H-SOL-26-164; the posted response deadline is November 30.

4. NASA SBIR/STTR FY 2026–2027 research framework

NASA’s Shared Services Center has posted the broad agency announcement governing SBIR, SBIR Ignite, and STTR Phase I and Phase II research opportunities for fiscal years 2026–2027. The framework establishes proposal instructions, eligibility, and funding information for small-business research and development tied to NASA’s technology needs.

Individual appendices define the actual research subtopics, submission requirements, and application windows. Those appendix-specific terms control when they differ from the umbrella announcement. Phase II work builds on Phase I results and includes technical development, costed milestones, and commercialization planning. Solicitation number 80NSSC26R0003 lists an overall September 30, 2027 expiry; that is not a common proposal deadline for every appendix.

5. FDA contractor-hosted records facility

FDA’s Office of Acquisition and Grants Services is requesting proposals for a contractor-hosted Fully Integrated Records Facility. The work combines records processing, scanning, photocopying, tracking, temporary storage, courier distribution, and transition support in an FDA-exclusive technical environment.

The facility must provide at least 20,000 contiguous square feet within 60 miles round trip of FDA’s White Oak campus. FDA anticipates a single-award IDIQ with a five-year ordering period, exclusively set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. Amendment 0002 moves the proposal deadline for solicitation number 75F40126R00009 to October 20 at 2 p.m. Eastern.

6. FHWA AI-enabled incident response with small drones

The Federal Highway Administration’s AIRS-COP effort explores how small uncrewed aircraft, AI, and human responders can work together during traffic incidents. The research would move beyond passive video collection to interpret scenes, support traffic-management centers, and help coordinate an initial response before ground crews arrive.

The scope includes hardware and software proofs of concept, edge-and-cloud computing, testing at Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center, and a pilot with a state transportation department. Battery capacity, heat, computing demand, and approved aircraft components constrain the design. The solicitation’s posted response deadline falls on October 15 at 10 p.m. Eastern.

8. VA procurement-policy document control

VA’s Technology Acquisition Center in New Jersey is gathering information on software for managing procurement procedures, forms, and reference materials. The proposed solution would work natively with SharePoint Online or as a SharePoint-embedded service, giving users readable procedures without sending them into a document library.

The scope includes controlled publication, revision history, read-only archives, future-dated releases, search, and distinct permissions for readers and administrators. Microsoft Entra ID sign-on and accessible desktop and mobile experiences are also part of the requirement. This remains a market-research RFI. Amendment 0001 extends responses for solicitation number 36C10B26Q0830 to October 13 at 10 a.m. Eastern.

9. IHS patient-identification labeling modernization

The Indian Health Service’s Office of Information Technology is researching a transition from legacy DataRay D3 patient-labeling stations to D4 or an equal solution. The planned federal baseline must continue working with RPMS, accommodate future PATH electronic-health-record transitions, and support migration toward IPv6-only networking without disrupting care.

IHS also describes enterprise support, security patching, incident response, standard configurations, and repeatable deployment and rollback processes. The sources-sought notice prioritizes Indian Economic Enterprises, with service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses as a second preference. Capability statements and the requested representation form for solicitation number IHS-27-SSN-PILP are due October 12 at 3 p.m. Eastern.

The NATO Communications and Information Agency is gathering industry input on commercial e-invoicing solutions and managed services for accounts payable and accounts receivable. It wants to understand support for different invoice standards, exchange networks, platforms, and integration approaches before setting detailed requirements.

This is a planning RFI, with no preferred deployment model selected. Vendors are invited to describe capabilities, comment on draft requirements, and identify implementation risks. The U.S. Commerce Department carries the announcement, but NCIA is the buyer and responses must go to NCIA. Solicitation number RFI-191957 closes November 6 at noon Central European Time.
