Yesterday’s G2X community research put professional services, construction, supplies and contract administration among the top 10 federal contract opportunities. This roundup follows the requirements drawing research attention, with the actual buyer, scope and current response conditions for each.
1. Army Agile Professional Services
Army Contracting Command’s Aberdeen Proving Ground–Orlando Division is accepting proposals for Agile Professional Services supporting the Capability Program Executive for Simulation, Training, Test and Threat. The small-business set-aside replaces a staffing-centered support model with task-based work organized around government priorities. It covers acquisition, engineering, logistics, financial management and other services across the training and test portfolio.
The G2X analysis describes an enterprise backlog, sprint execution and reporting through government-provided Jira and Power BI. Proposed approaches must work within the approved environment rather than depend on external add-ons. Solicitation W900KK-26-R-A023 uses labor-hour/time-and-materials terms; estimated hours are not guaranteed quantities. Proposals are due October 25 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.

2. National Zoo Arabian Leopard Habitats
The Smithsonian Institution is seeking construction proposals for Phase 2 of the Arabian Leopard Facility at its National Zoological Park in Washington, DC. The work combines animal habitats and an animal-care building with specialized doors, containment fencing, transfer chutes, radiant flooring and constructed rock features. Construction must be coordinated around an occupied historic campus, public access and the welfare of nearby animals.
The planned firm-fixed-price project exceeds $10 million, with a 578-day base performance period after notice to proceed. Only Grunley, Consigli and Whiting-Turner, the three prequalified firms named in the notice, may submit offers. Solicitation 33330226RT0010015 sets the proposal deadline at November 13, 3 p.m. Eastern.

3. JBLM Multi-Domain Task Force Buildings
The Army Corps of Engineers’ Seattle District has posted a presolicitation notice for converting two barracks at Joint Base Lewis-McChord into an operational facility for three command levels. Utility connections and neighboring projects add coordination requirements beyond the buildings themselves.
The anticipated firm-fixed-price procurement is a total small-business set-aside under solicitation W912DW27RA014. The notice describes a best-value tradeoff and an expected response date of November 13. This is the advance acquisition notice for that construction requirement; proposal instructions belong to the resulting solicitation.

4. FTA Contract Closeout Support
The Federal Transit Administration’s Office of Acquisition Management, TAD-40 Operations Division, is gathering information from sources able to close out completed procurement actions. The workload spans contracts, BPAs, task and call orders, purchase orders, and interagency agreements. It combines file review and closeout documentation with reconciliation of obligations and funding in FTA’s financial and award-management systems.
The G2X analysis describes closeout packages, monthly action reports and de-obligation reporting, with performance centered at DOT headquarters in Washington, DC. Telework requires government approval. The contemplated period is one base year and three one-year options. Responses to the sources-sought requirement, solicitation number FTACLOSEOUTSUPPORT, are due October 13 at 5 p.m. Eastern.

6. USMS Aviation Security Officers
The U.S. Marshals Service is recruiting individuals for aviation security officer personal-services contracts supporting its districts and the Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System. The open posting operates under the Justice Department’s personal-services contracting authority, with recruitment continuing during the contract’s performance period.
Eligibility is unusually specific: applicants must be individuals who meet the statement-of-work qualifications. Security companies are expressly excluded. The notice remains open into July 2030, but it is not a general security-services competition for firms. The G2X record links to the authoritative recruitment notice and its application requirements.

8. Army BOAST Sustainment On-Ramp
Army Contracting Command–Detroit Arsenal is accepting requests to establish Basic Ordering Agreements through its BOAST sustainment program. The scope covers Class IX repair parts and components used to maintain Army equipment, including assemblies, consumables and repairable items. Medical-specific repair parts are outside the stated scope.
The August administrative update directs new applicants to the conformed solicitation incorporating Amendments 0001–0003. Existing applicants do not need to resubmit. An agreement sets terms for potential future orders; it is not itself a contract, obligates no funds and guarantees no work. The on-ramp is listed under solicitation W912CH-26-R-0001, with the current record remaining open through April 2031.

Solicitation W912HV26BA001 and its associated material are distributed through the PIEE Solicitation Module. Amendments include updated site-visit provisions, responses to contractor questions and cybersecurity requirements. The revised bid deadline is November 17 at 2 p.m. Japan Standard Time, which is midnight Eastern at the start of November 17. 10. Architect of the Capitol Management Study
The Architect of the Capitol is seeking consulting services to assess the management capacity and governance needed for a long-term, multibillion-dollar capital-construction program. Solicitation AOCACB26R0052 calls for a qualified contractor to evaluate the current organization and its ability to support the program.
