The Indian Health Service’s Division of Acquisition Policy is procuring modernization of its influenza-like illness surveillance processes and algorithms. The Influenza-like Illness Awareness System uses daily exports from participating Indian Health Service, Tribal, and Urban Indian facilities to support national, Area, and local reporting. The project combines a current-system assessment with improvements to the repository, validation, and reporting automation.

The contractor will address data quality, transparency, documentation, and the sustainability of the surveillance process while preserving compatibility with existing facility data. IHS expects source code, configuration, workflows, and operational documentation that allow the government to maintain the resulting system. The acquisition is restricted to Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises, with substantive technical and implementation work scheduled to finish by July 31, 2027.

Kessel Run is collecting industry input on the Revolutionary Air Operations Center weapon system.
