Follow https://g2x.com/docs/run-a-pipeline/track-an-account. Preserve the existing account identity. Review note audiences and use only authorized material; do not change sharing or copy restricted history into a broader audience. 2. **Reconcile active commitments** Ask the outgoing owner for the commitments still open, their due dates or triggers, relevant contacts, source correspondence and evidence of completed work. Keep tentative discussions and hypotheses labelled. Resolve contradictory notes against the actual authorized source, and distinguish internal relationship history from current public facts. 3. **Prepare the incoming owner's brief** Return why the account matters, present relationship status, active commitments, responsible people, open questions and approved source references. Recheck decision-relevant public company/opportunity facts through G2X and their originals. Use https://www.hr.vt.edu/hiring-employee-transactions/Offboarding-Transfer/knowledge-transfer.html as an institutional example of documenting work, contacts and introductions, not a mandatory GovCon rule. 4. **Check the handoff through a real discussion** Have the incoming owner explain the next intended conversation and find the evidence behind it. Record accepted responsibilities, remaining gaps and the agreed transfer date in the brief. Do not claim the CRM owner changed unless an authorized supported control exists and readback proves it. If no supported owner control is available, retain the intended transfer in the brief and ask the account administrator how to apply it. 5. **Optionally organize the brief with Lumen** Illustrative prompt, not executed: "Using only this authorized handoff material, list active commitments, due dates or triggers, contacts, evidence and unresolved questions. Separate confirmed facts from the outgoing owner's judgment. Identify what the incoming owner should confirm before outreach. Do not send messages or change records." Use Ask Lumen and authorized Company Library uploads through Add documents only when the files, storage and audience are approved. Check https://g2x.com/docs/lumen/ask-a-good-question and current account access/limits. Ask: "Which commitment lacks enough context for the new owner to act?" Review source passages manually; the free CRM and manual brief do not require Lumen. 6. **Record only authorized follow-through** Offer a specific CRM next step and date for review, retaining sensitive material in approved storage. Save only if the reader authorizes the change and verify readback. Any introduction or follow-up message remains an unsent draft until authorized. A brief is not evidence that the incoming person accepted ownership; record acceptance only after their actual confirmation. Expected result: A source-linked account handoff brief and prioritized commitments for the incoming owner, with acceptance and record changes reported only when actually verified. ### Free access G2X Community Edition is free forever, with no credit card.
